Rolly Resos | '66 911 | Costa Mesa, CA.

Walking into this guy's garage is like walking back into time... Rolly is the real deal. 80 years old and still going strong, this man got his first car at age fourteen and has done it all. Not only does he have some killer Porsche stuff going on, like his rare '66 911 and 356 Carrera 2, he also had a killer '32 Ford project in progress.. Lotsa history there..........

Some more shots from Rennsport Reunion IV..

Sorry for the small amount of coverage. I can't upload all my good shots because they will first be published and, as usual, I don't want to show the shots to the people online before the mags do it on paper....

Laguna Seca sure had some good photo opportunities with the use of the early morning fog coming in from the ocean...

California trip - update # 1

Not many of you know, but I flew out to California last Wednesday for another photo trip... This is what I saw when waking up in Huntington Beach last Thursday morning.. Thanks for letting me borrow you place Scotty!! Much appreciated!

My view while having a nice 'n healthy 7-11 breakfast.....

A quick meeting with the Cycle Zombies while they surfed Southside Huntington Beach.. More of these guys later.

Then it was time to meet up with Barry LaCour at Top Shelf Customs, also in Huntington Beach. I've been wanting to shoot one of his bikes for a long time, but it just never happened until last Thursday.

After having lunch with Brandon from Brawny Built I met up with the ATR crew & Michael Schmidt, to raise some hell in the neigbourhood.. Most people weren't too happy with three Harleys hauling ass up and down the street...

Then on Friday I drove up to Monterey, for the Porsche Rennspeed Reunion IV, but before going to the track I made a quick stop in Salinas, to check out Cole's BMW project.

Then later in the afternoon I made it all the way to San Francisco, to get some neat shots of the Golden gate bridge.

It's Saturday already, and the Rennsport Reunion is in full swing. If you like Porsches, it doesn't get any better than this, that's for sure.

Having Lunch with Sal Mendez and DKP's Ben Salazar..

Last shot for now cause we're off for a well deserved dinner...

A rainy visit to the green hell...

While enjoying one of the most terrible Dutch summers ever, a week or two ago we drove out to the Nurburgring (a.k.a. The Green Hell) in Germany... Without knowing that the annual old timer GP was going on, we were surpised to see tons of cool cars out there. It's always a pleasure to go to The Ring, because there's always nice machinery to see, but when the old timer GP is on, many rare automibles from all over Europe show up. We didn't even go onto the GP circuit, but only checked out the visitor's cars outside, and the "tourists action" on the Nordschleife.. Good times always. I didn't take many pics because of the pouring rain that didn't stop most of the day, but here's a very small selection.......

Check out the hard workin' blue collar guy with his hotrodded Ascona A. He's probably havin' as much fun with the old Opel as mister suit & tie guy on the right is having with his Lamborghini or Ferrari..

We spotted this tough lookin' Renault 5 Turbo on an almost empty, rained out camping. Normally you hardly ever see these cars around, this day we saw at least 4 or 5 of 'em..

How many 911's do you want.... There was a nice selection out there the day we went.

Richard Sutliffe's '73 911S | Total 911 Magazine

During my last trip to California in February I had the pleasure to meet up with a bunch of the R-Gruppe members. With the help of John Gray, Cris Huergas, and Bob Tilton, I was able to do photoshoots of both Paul Reyes' and Richard Sutliffe's early 911 Porsches.. Richard's was featured in the July issue of the English Total 911 magazine. One of my first shoots for one of the bigger automotive magazines in the business. I made up a new section in my portfolio called "Series" in which I want to select my best images of shoots I did in the past. Richard's '73 Porsche is the first serie of photos I put online in this new section. Check out the portfolio and click on the bottom banner or click here to go straight to the action.

Racecar spelled backwards is racecar | Spa Classics | Francorchamps Belgium

I attended the Spa Classics at Francorchamps today... It's late and all I'm gonna say is that Group C is the most bad assed thing I've ever seen. It's like seeing insanely fast land speed cars doing circles at a racetrack.... Need - more - of - this. What a great day.
